Noruegos en Argentina

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of Norwegians in Argentina; I think the embassy estimates 200 in the BA area and another 100 in the rest of the country.

When I search for noruegos en Argentina, or nordmenn i Argentina, or Norwegians in Buenos Aires, there are not that many relevant hits, but here are a few of the main sites:

First, the embassy (I already registered there so I have gotten my first events email!): Noruega: el portal oficial en Argentina

Then there is the Chamber of Commerce: CANC – Cámara Argentina Noruega de Comercio

The Instituto Sueco Argentino has one Norwegian class: Instituto Sueco

There is a Swedish church and a Danish church, but no Norwegian one.

Borealidad is a site for Nordic culture and news, but it hasn’t been updated since June. Borealidad – Cultura Nordica.

As far as blogs go, there are some cool ones written by Norwegian exchange students, I think they are all with AFS, and I was an AFS student in high school so of course I find that very cool! A lot of them can be found on this Norwegian page that is sort of a consolidator of exchange student blogs: Utvekslingsblogger

One I particularly liked was this one: Marthe i Argentina. It is so well written and reflects a lot of the things I went through when I was an exchange student.

I will try to update this when I find new stuff.
