I have spent several Christmases in hot climates before – Panama, Mexico,  California – but this was my first time spending the holidays in the Southern Hemisphere and it was very nice so far! I spent Christmas with Swedish Argentinian friends north of Buenos Aires, and it was perfect. Great food and great company. New Years I am set to spend with other friends in Uruguay!
